Position Summary
PSWs report to the Client Services Coordinator and are responsible for delivering high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes, in accordance with individualized care plans and established standards of practice.
This is a casual/part-time position with flexible scheduling based on client needs and staff availability.

Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community outings as required
Provide companionship and emotional support
Offer respite support to families
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic charting systems
Monitor and report changes in client health or environment
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive care environment
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and members of the healthcare team
Qualifications and Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized Ontario program
NACC certification required for private career college graduates
Equivalent credentials (RPN, RN, or internationally educated healthcare professionals) will be considered
Previous PSW or caregiving experience is an asset
