Job Description We are seeking a Plant Modeling and Simulation Engineer to develop, validate, and maintain high-quality plant models supporting XIL, virtual validation, and system integration activities. This role focuses on building scalable, reusable models across multiple vehicle domains and ensuring alignment with system-level requirements and verification workflows. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including system design, architecture, controls, and testing organizations to enable efficient virtual development and validation using model-based techniques. This role is ideal for engineers who: Enjoy deep technical work in modeling and simulation Want to contribute to system-level development and validation Are building toward technical leadership or system architecture roles Key Responsibilities: Plant Model Development Develop and maintain 0D/1D plant models representing physical systems (e.g., propulsion, chassis, ADAS, infotainment). Ensure models meet appropriate fidelity levels depending on development phase (concept, design, integration, validation). Perform model validation and correlation against requirements and test data. Support model reduction and optimization for simulation efficiency. Model-Based Development Support Integrate plant models into XIL workflows and environments. Support virtual testing, requirement validation, and system verification activities. Collaborate with controls and system engineers to ensure alignment between plant models and control strategies. Contribute to continuous integration pipelines for model development and validation.
