Job Description: Department Information Technology Position Purpose Lead the Platform Operations function responsible for the reliable, secure and cost-effective operation of EDF Trading's core technology infrastructure. The role owns the operational lifecycle of compute, virtualisation, storage, backup, network services, operating systems, data centre infrastructure and core platform services. It is accountable for ensuring infrastructure services meet availability, performance, resilience and cybersecurity requirements while supporting the firm's engineering, trading, data and corporate technology platforms. The position drives automation, infrastructure-as-code adoption, operational simplification and technology lifecycle management, enabling Platform Engineering to provide stable foundations for application delivery, data platforms, AI workloads and business-critical services.
