Summary/Objective The Manufacturing Utility is responsible for making sure our parts boxes, skids, racks, and any other picked material be staged in a timely manner. Once the material is staged to an appropriate location(s) it is signed off by a team leader. They also are responsible for organization of the staging area and the return of empty dunnage. Essential Functions Employees must be able to operate a forklift confidently, efficiently, and safely. There is a minimum lifting requirement of 25 - 50 Lbs. Must be team oriented and able to work well with others. Must be able to switch from task to task efficiently and effectively. Must be able to have some knowledge of staging areas at the warehouse and plants. Must have organizational skills to keep, maintain, and/or update material delivery log. Competencies Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals. Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English). Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, production schedule, RPO pick paperwork on dunnage, and material delivery log. Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must be able to operate various lift trucks as needed. Must be able to operate appropriate equipment including radios, hitching process, loading material on to trailers safely Must be highly organized. Must possess successful problem-solving skills.
