Right now, we’re looking for a Policy Coordinator to join our team of specialists in Head Office. As a Policy Coordinator you will be responsible for the development, management, and implementation of the policy framework, including policies, procedures, and guidelines, to support our organisation in delivering high-quality education to children from birth to 12 years. The role will also support the CEO and Executive Team with sector advocacy, policy analysis, government engagement, and the development of submissions and position papers that influence policy and strengthen outcomes across the education and care sector.
What you need to succeed
Demonstrated experience in a developing and managing an organisational policy framework.
Demonstrated experience in developing, reviewing, updating, and managing organisational policies.
High level policy writing skills and report writing skills.
High level organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and / or projects.
High level research and analysis skills and experience.
A skilled, experienced, and confident verbal communicator.
Demonstrated interest in public policy, advocacy or sector reform.
Knowledge of early childhood and out of school hours sector is desirable.
