Overview The Barback is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper stock behind the bar, as well as ensuring the best-in-class guest experience. They are also responsible for assisting the Bar staff in keeping the bar organized for an efficient flow of service throughout their shift. Responsibilities Request, pick, verify and put away all requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks and food items used for the bar areas. Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments. Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar. Ensure that all side opening and closing duties are completed. Adopt a positive approach in dealing with guests problems and issues to ensure guest satisfaction. Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to ensure compliance with regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Attend to customer needs with a friendly and professional attitude. Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
