Job Summary
Due to exciting practice growth, we are seeking a dedicated and capable ­Practice Manager to oversee the establishment/growth of, and daily administrative operations of, our NEW clinic located in Fishers, IN, opening in 2027. We are looking to hire this manager prior to the clinic’s opening, and training would take place at our Carmel headquarters, with variable travel to our Greenwood, Avon, and Noblesville clinics (with mileage reimbursement per IRS guidelines). Your duties will include building the staffing model at this new clinic, supporting the clinic’s growth (including the MDs’ practice growth), optimizing patient care and enhancing employee engagement by proactively identifying areas of improvement. You will be empowered to quickly develop impactful solutions, critical thinking, active communication and collaboration with management peers, physicians and staff are essential for success.
To be successful in this role, you should exhibit exceptional managerial abilities, which will ultimately translate to excellent patient care. Outstanding practice managers are experienced in proactively addressing issues that prevent the clinic from running smoothly. Exceptional organizational skills to ensure the highest level of patient care and employee engagement are a necessity. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, communication and interoffice coordination, this role requires a passion for mentoring staff members - through efficient hiring practices and hands-on training.
Job Duties
Manages all activities of a medical office. Such as: Patient arrival, registration, and check out
Patient phone calls and scheduling
Electronic Chart preparation, pre-certification, and benefits
Patient forms – disability, FMLA, etc.
Surgery and hospital charge capture
Maintaining MD schedule and patient scheduling templates
Maintain and enhance referring MD and hospital relationships
Proficient in all office functions and expected to fill in as necessary.
Manages day-to-day office activities through development, utilization, and relationship building with physicians and office staff.
Manages employee relations, including staffing, payroll, performance, and employee training and development.
