Salary: £60,000+ DOE

About the role
Reporting to the Avionics & Test Engineering Manager, you will deliver avionic systems engineering outputs as part of a wider avionics & test engineering team. Providing technical leadership over all aspects of design, development and integration engineering associated with control, navigation, communication, aircraft management and C2 systems.
Responsibilities
Design and development of avionics systems for unmanned air systems, including navigation, power, communication, payloads, aircraft management, and command & control (C2) systems.
Integration of systems, including other air vehicle systems such as power plant, fuel systems and payloads.
Lead engineering involvement to projects, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
Work with the Avionics & Test Engineering Manager to create and improve internal processes and procedures.
Supervise, guide and support other engineers across involved projects.
