Parsons creates game-changing space solutions by teaming highly respected subject matter experts with brilliant technologists.  Parsons is seeking a Principal Software Developer who has extensive experience with Navy or DoW software systems. In this role you will get to support a high visibility Navy Program.   What You’ll be Doing:  Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs  Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis  Update software or enhance existing software capabilities  May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements  May maintain databases within an application area  Required Qualifications:  Must have a Top-Secret clearance with SCI and ability to pass a Counterintelligence polygraph  Minimum of 10 years or more of professional experience in Software Development  Master’s degree, or an authorized substitution for a bachelor’s degree plus four additional years of relevant experience.   Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative/distributed team environment  Experience developing software using various programming languages and technologies.   Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and testing complex software applications.   Experience with the software development life cycle.   Experience with Agile software development methodologies.   Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite  Desired Qualifications:  An active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly is preferred  Experience with Cybersecurity best practices  Experience supporting Navy programs, NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific, NIWC Atlantic  Security Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​ This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. …
