Build Better Processes. Make a Difference. Are you an engineer who wants to do more than improve a production line? At The Baker Company in Sanford, Maine, you’ll use your engineering skills to solve real manufacturing challenges while helping produce equipment that protects scientists, supports critical research, and contributes to work that helps people. As a hands-on Process Engineer, you’ll turn ideas into practical solutions on the factory floor—improving quality, safety, efficiency, yield, and flow while working with exciting technologies such as collaborative robotics (cobots), automation, 3-D printing/additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and innovative tooling. From identifying an opportunity to implementing a solution and seeing the results in production, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact—not only on how we manufacture, but on the products we build and the people they ultimately serve. SUMMARY The Process Engineer reports to the Manufacturing Operations Manager and plays a hands-on role in shaping how work gets done on the factory floor.
