Position Summary As part of the comprehensive internship program, interns will participate in events which help them build a strong network within the SJI community and with fellow interns. Interns enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work environment throughout this 11-week summer program. The Ignite Internship Program also offers participants mentorship, educational seminars, volunteer opportunities, and visibility within the organization. The Finance Intern will support the Financial Planning & Analysis team with financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, business analysis, and process improvement activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to corporate finance and an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional business environment while developing analytical, communication, and technical skills. The Procurement & Supply Chain Summer Intern will support the Procurement team with projects and daily activities while gaining hands-on experience in a corporate procurement and supply chain environment. The internship will provide exposure to sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and data analysis. Essential Functions: Assist with procurement and supply chain projects and initiatives. Support sourcing and purchasing activities. Assist with supplier research and information gathering. Support the organization and maintenance of supplier, purchasing, and contract information. Assist with data analysis, reporting, and tracking. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with internal business partners. Support process improvement initiatives. Assist with other procurement and supply chain projects as assigned. Qualifications Required Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Interest in developing a career in procurement and/or supply chain management.…
