The Role
The Product Builder on the Supply Service Group owns assigned worker-side systems that keep Flexers informed, supported, and working. This role lives in Braze integrations and related supply-side messaging systems (including Sense where relevant): you identify and prioritize what to build, design the experience, and write the code. The work spans two connected surfaces: the lifecycle messaging that keeps Flexers engaged, and the worker-app transactional communications they rely on every day — AI calls, push, in-app, SMS, and email that confirm a shift, flag a change or cancellation, chase a missing document, or confirm attendance. Some of it is triggered in Braze, some in the product itself. All of it has to be accurate, on time, and trusted. You will own assigned Braze integration work with guidance from senior product leadership, turn Operations and CRM needs into working software, ship it yourself, and grow ownership over time. You will also own the worker-app transactional communications that get Flexers to their shift — and keep them coming back to book the next one.
What you’ll be doing
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
Own day-to-day Braze integration work: frame the problem, design the flow, ship the change, and follow up after launch.
Own worker-app transactional communications Flexers depend on to work — shift confirmations, changes and cancellations, reminders, document chases, and pay notifications — getting triggers, timing, content, and failure modes right.
Build fluency in worker messaging, service workflows, and how Braze fits the Flexer experience.
Ship end-to-end with Engineering, CRM, and Operations; the deliverable is production code.
Use AI tools to go from idea to production quickly: prototype the flow, then implement and ship it.
Conduct in-depth discovery: shadow Operations and CRM, pull data, form hypotheses, and suggest small, high-leverage improvements.
Contribute improvement ideas to the Braze and messaging roadmap based on discovery, rollout learnings, and Ops/CRM feedback.
Connect work to outcomes by understanding how messaging reliability and engagement affect Flexer…
