Role Overview
The Product Security Architect - AI & IoT is responsible for integrating cybersecurity into Fluence's artificial intelligence, machine learning, embedded systems, edge computing, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. This role focuses on pioneering, implementing, and improving secure architectures for connected products, embedded software, AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent devices, and cloud-connected platforms.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will help strengthen Fluence's secure-by-design approach for emerging technologies by developing scalable security architectures capable of addressing threats targeting AI models, connected devices, embedded systems, APIs, cloud services, and software supply chains.
Core Operations:
Assess security risks associated with machine learning models, LLMs, AI agents, and AI-enabled applications.
Lead complex AI threat modeling, design reviews, and security architecture assessments for products, projects, and customer deployments.
Develop guidance for adversarial AI, prompt injection, data poisoning, and model integrity risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with engineering teams to define security architecture requirements for AI, embedded, edge, and IoT solutions.
Serve as a senior subject matter expert and primary security consultant for AI innovation and disruption to deep tech within the company.
Mentor engineers and security practitioners and contribute reusable architecture guidance, patterns, and lessons learned.
Security Advocacy:
Develop guidance for adversarial AI, prompt injection, data poisoning, and model integrity risks.
