Purpose The Product Specialist is responsible for translating product strategy into high-quality, deliverable outcomes through effective backlog management and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Combining strong product delivery capability with deep industry expertise, this role ensures that solutions are both technically robust and aligned to real-world customer needs. The Product Specialist plays a critical role in enabling efficient delivery while acting as a subject matter expert within their domain. Key Responsibilities Backlog Ownership & Refinement Own, manage, and continuously refine the product backlog to ensure it is clear, prioritised, and actionable Translate product strategy and discovery insights into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria Ensure backlog items meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and align with delivery goals Delivery Planning & Execution Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning, ensuring clarity of priorities and scope Support the team in delivering high-quality increments aligned to defined outcomes Contribute to release planning and ensure readiness for deployment Team Enablement & Collaboration Act as the primary point of contact for the development team for requirements clarification Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Design to ensure smooth and efficient delivery Remove ambiguity and unblock teams to maintain delivery momentum Quality & Acceptance Validate delivered work against acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD) Ensure quality standards are met in collaboration with QA and stakeholders Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and release sign-off processes Stakeholder & Feedback Management Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback Ensure stakeholder needs are reflected in backlog prioritisation Communicate delivery progress,…
