Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled Production Installation Engineer to support the manufacture and testing of control panels and MCCs.
Key Responsibilities
Build, wire and assemble control panels and MCCs from schematic, circuit and layout drawings.
Prepare components, materials, tools and work areas to support efficient production and installation activities.
Interpret technical drawings and project documentation to ensure compliance with design requirements.
Assist with testing, commissioning and fault-finding activities.
Carry out quality checks, inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Liaise with supervisors, managers and other contractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery of projects.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, workmanship and workshop organisation.
Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, including lock-off systems, RAMS and STAR (Stop, Think, Act, Review).
