Position Summary of the Program Manager Role at Altek Electronics:
The Program Manager acts as the primary and accountable point of contact for a defined group of customers. They plan, manage, and report on contractual requirements and overall performance of their programs. This role is mainly onsite, but may require some travel to customers and vendors.
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Program Manager are described below; other duties may be assigned:
Ensures manufacturing projects, programs, and activities are managed effectively and align with the broader objectives of the business.
Manages/develops the program plan for customers, including the potential schedules/forecasts, material costs, performance objectives, risk management, etc.
Coordinates internal & external customer resources and third parties/vendors (team) to execute programs.
Understands the business well enough, or seeks understanding, to be certain that the company has the appropriate resources to meet and comply with all contractual requirements including product performance, quality, and regulatory compliance, etc.
