Positive Overview: As a Project Associate, you’ll play a vital part in delivering outstanding service and solutions to our clients. Marketing: Represent Sense Engineering professionally, building positive relationships with clients, contractors and other consultants. Knowledge Development: Enhance your technical expertise and stay current on industry trends and best practices. Technical Responsibilities: Design and analyze structures or building structural components for new construction, renovation and restoration projects. Perform site reviews for structural investigations and condition evaluation, and analysis for structural assessment of existing structures. Conduct field reviews and prepare field review reports for structural projects during construction. Prepare detailed analysis/design notes, engineering drawings and specifications, and structural assessment reports. Assist with preparation of project proposals. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to support clear communication and efficient, timely project delivery. Represent Sense at client meetings and other networking functions with a commitment to exceptional service standards. Other duties as assigned/required. What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minor in Structural Engineering or a Master's degree in Structural Engineering will be an asset. Previous co-op or internship experience in the engineering consulting field is considered a strong asset. Registered with or eligible for registration with applicable provincial professional engineering association. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Proficient in common structural engineering computer software (e.g. SAP2000, ETABs, SAFE, SpSlab, S-Frame suite of software). Familiar with AutoCad or Revit for inter-discipline coordination and assisting with drawing preparation. Strong work ethic and attention to detail coupled…
