Competencies / Characteristics Required: Team-Player with a reputation of hard work and strong personal values Clearly understands and embraces working together as a team Humble, hungry and sharp Aptitude and passion to learn, listen and grow competencies Willingness to be mentored by Project Manager and Superintendent Can be trusted to hold themselves accountable and do the right thing even when no one is looking Quick to take responsibility and slow to assign blame Maintains a positive and professional attitude under pressure Responds thoughtfully instead of reacting emotionally Can adhere to organizational process Understands and recognizes quality workmanship Works diligently and urgently, skillfully prioritizing your time Communicates effectively and clearly Disciplined in managing and executing multiple tasks and assignments Essential Functions and Abilities Required: Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in executing complex projects Feed critical information to the field (Project Superintendent and Trade Partners) to keep the project on schedule Can competently interpret plans, specifications, and code Provides support and information to the Project Superintendent to ensure work complies with project design, code and specifications. Assist the Project Superintendent with site logistics (trailer, temp facilities) to ensure project is set up for success Manage and lead the RFI, submittal, and procurement process Coordinate and effectively communicate with Project Architects, Engineers, Owners, Subcontractors and Field Personnel with current project status and critical issues Understands and recognizes quality workmanship Assist Project Manager in cost management and reporting Prepare and plan for weekly OAC, trade, and pre-install meetings. Document and distribute meeting minutes weekly. Manage, generate, and execute subcontractors and subcontractor change orders Maintain up-to-date project logs including monthly project progress reports and project controls Maintain our construction management software (Procore) and document/drawing management Assist in managing project production and scheduling including CPM updates, mapping sessions, pull plans, etc. Lead the closeout process including owner training, punch-list and as-builts Education / Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or engineering preferred but not required 1-3 years of experience as a construction Project Engineer Experience should be…
