Based out of Canem’s Mississauga office, the Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, financial performance, and closeout of mechanical and/or electrical construction projects. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. What You Will Be Working On Project Leadership & Execution Lead all phases of project delivery, including planning, scheduling, procurement, resource coordination, execution, and closeout. Develop and implement project execution strategies while proactively managing project risks, stakeholder expectations, and overall project performance. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve successful project outcomes. Financial & Contract Management Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, cash flow management, billing, and monthly reporting. Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements while maintaining accurate project documentation and controls. Prepare, negotiate, and manage change orders, contract amendments, and project closeout requirements. Client & Business Development Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and industry partners to support successful project delivery and future opportunities. Promote Canem's services and identify, pursue, and help secure new project opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
