The Project Manager runs the projects that keep the MarCom engine moving to support Southeast’s ministries and campuses. This role owns the timelines, briefs, handoffs, and accountability rhythms that ensure every approved project ships on time, on budget, and on brand. Project deliverables vary from graphics, video, photography, copywriting, marketing planning, communications, website updates, and event production support.

What you will be doing
Project Execution & Timeline Ownership
Own a portfolio of active projects across the full lifecycle from creative brief through formal closure.
Conduct structured discovery to define scope, identify stakeholders, and surface risks — building an approved creative brief before work begins.
Build realistic timelines and work with teams to ensure deadlines are met.
Prioritize rapport building with stakeholders and creatives, providing support and clear communication.
Establish and enable project cadences (i.e., kickoffs, check-ins, report-outs, and retrospectives).
Identify risks early and mobilize the team to solve them.
Facilitate project closure — capturing lessons learned, updating templates, and archiving completed projects.
Cross-Team Coordination
Steward projects through workflow with clarity, discernment and speed.
Coordinate handoffs between marketing, copywriters, designers, video, content capture and internal communications teams so that deliverables are completed within agreed upon timeframes.
Nurture relationships, building trust in collaboration with Central Ministry partners to deliver atrium experiences and advance ministry objectives.
Approach challenges critically, reprioritize tasks when needed, and escalate blockers to the Operations Director before they become issues.
Quality & System Discipline
Drive project prioritization to support capacity management, ensuring the right work is in front of the team at the right times.
Ensure every project has a complete brief, and the partner agrees with the overview before work begins.
Provide accurate, honest status reports to the Operations Director on a regular cadence.
Steward every step of the project with ease and transparent communication. This includes but is not limited to: quality assurance, reviews, and approvals
Log and manage all change requests (scope, timeline, budget) through established change-control process.
Drive change management for new or updated systems and processes.
Contribute to operational system improvements; surface friction points.
Regularly evaluate what is working/not working for the MarCom team. Partner with the Operational Director to make changes as needed
