Overview: Full-time, Continuing position Salary Professional Level 5 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working About You You’re a confident and engaging communicator who knows how to turn a conversation into an opportunity. With a background in sales, recruitment or a similar target-driven environment , you’ll be well equipped to connect with prospective students, understand their goals and confidently promote the benefits of studying at RMIT.   Comfortable working across phone, email, live chat, social media and face-to-face channels, you’ll bring a proactive, customer-focused approach and enjoy working towards student recruitment and sales targets . You’ll be skilled at asking the right questions, tailoring your approach to individual needs and guiding prospective students from initial enquiry through to their next step.   You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is just as important as building rapport. Strong CRM skills, accurate record keeping and the ability to quickly develop detailed knowledge of RMIT’s programs and offerings will set you up for success.   Please note that flexibility to work on one or two weekends per year may be required. To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum: Proven experience in an acquisition/sales/recruitment environment. Demonstrated experience in being a pro-active team member whilst successfully responding to client needs measured through lead generation, conversion to application, and positive customer feedback. High level communication and comprehension skills and an ability to interact with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to manage difficult client expectations with successful outcomes. Experience with CRM for capturing lead and case data based on conversation with prospective students. Ability to use multiple systems simultaneously and work well under pressure whilst meeting KPI’s. Ability to interpret complex information and effectively and efficiently converse with individuals at all levels. Comfortability working in a call centre environment and adhering to a roster.
