Job Summary: Examine and inspect materials, finished parts, and fabricated products for defects and wear to ensure conformance with work orders, diagrams, blueprints and customer specifications completeness. Essential Functions: Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions. Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications. Mark items with details such as acceptance or rejection status. Record inspection data and calibration data. Skills: · Quality Control Analysis- Conduct inspection of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. · Reading Comprehension - Understanding written instruction and details. · Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. · Instructing - Teaching others how to perform tasks. · Learning Strategies - Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new skills. Attributes: · Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. · The ability to communicate with conviction and ease in professional settings. · Deductive reasoning and logical thinking, and the capability to creatively solve problems. · Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. · Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, while also collaborating within a team and office environment. · Ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
