Job Summary
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of clinic and hospital data management, analytics, and application to assist with the timely delivery of mandatory reporting, regulation compliance, optimal healthcare management strategies, and quality/process improvement initiatives.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
Support the Quality Department by acquiring data from primary or secondary sources for interpretation and application for but not limited to public and internal reporting, process improvement, patient satisfaction, patient safety, environment of care, surveillance, credentialing, risk management, policy compliance, and policy generation.
Through audits and surveillance, abstract data for identified quality measures and mandatory reporting requirements, assuring data integrity while adhering strictly to deadlines.
Collaborate with staff members throughout the hospital and clinics to ensure compliance with standards of care, mandated by all regulatory entities.
Perform chart reviews for ACO/MACRA/MIPS compliance and to identify and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Assist with presenting/preparing quality reports to members of the Board of Trustees, Medical Staff, Administration, and Department Leaders.
Establish and maintain open lines of communication regarding data collection, data interpretation, action plans, and quality improvement initiatives with members of the Medical Staff, Administration, and Department Leaders.
Assists with Medical Staff functions as assigned.
Non-Essential Functions
