About the Role
At Toll Aviation, safety is at the heart of everything we do. As a Quality & Safety Specialist - Rotary Wing, you will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our Safety Management System (SMS) and integrated Quality Management System (QMS). Working closely with operational and corporate stakeholders, you'll help ensure our rotary wing operations remain safe, compliant and effective while contributing to a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement across the business.
A day in the life of a Quality & Safety Specialist at Toll Group
Support the delivery of quality, safety and business improvement initiatives.
Coordinate safety communications, awareness campaigns and safety forums.
Analyse safety and quality performance data and prepare reports and meeting packs.
Facilitate risk assessments and maintain risk registers across the business.
Conduct audits, investigations and support corrective action implementation.
Assist with emergency preparedness activities, training programs and system administration.
Qualifications
Qualification and/or demonstrated experience in Aviation Safety Management, Quality Management, Risk Management, Assurance or a related discipline.
Experience working within aviation Quality and Safety Management Systems.
Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
Experience conducting audits, investigations and risk assessments, or willingness to undertake required training.
Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
Skills & Experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience using safety and quality management systems, including Air Maestro (desirable).
Ability to work collaboratively across operational and corporate teams.
Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Passion for fostering a positive safety culture.
