This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

In this role, you will be directly supporting Supplier Quality and Receiving Inspection to resolve, track, audit, inventory, and address opportunities revolving around supplier products — including documentation errors, hardware defects, and work order issues. Your primary scope will be to manage the Non-Conforming (NC) Material area within the Venture Park warehouse in Orlando.
You will be responsible for identifying actionable Non-Conforming material for removal from segregation and engaging internal and external stakeholders to obtain dispositions — driving down NC inventory and average age.
This position is first shift M-F with additional days as needed.
Qualifications:
3+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a production environment
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems and/or related quality systems and programs
Experience in GD&T fundamentals
Experience with receiving inspection principles
Fluency with personal computers and standard software tools
Strong understanding of Non-Conforming material processing and control
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize projects and meet completion dates
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired:
Background in aerospace, space launch, military, or commercial aviation
Experience reviewing supplier documentation
Intermediate experience providing oversight of receiving or dimensional inspection of aerospace components
Intermediate to advanced application of inspection concepts and tools
Advanced blueprint reading skills, including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard
Quality performance measurement and analysis capabilities
Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or comparable certification
