Job Summary:
Assist the Quality lead at the facility with control and identification of incoming materials; resolution of supplier issues; calibration program; investigation of customer complaints; response to customer inquiries; verification of product quality and other duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
Review and approval of Raw Material Certificate of Analysis ( COA )
Print Material Identification tags and place tags on incoming materials
Calibrate lab and shop floor measurement tools
Perform Quality Control checks and assist with questions and problems related to product acceptance criteria
Contact Suppliers to resolve COA issues
Creation and sending customer required Certificate of Compliance (COC)/ COA
Completion of supplier claims DBase to file supplier claims
Disposition of Supplier claim materials
Assist in the review and investigation of customer complaints and returned materials including recording results in quality tracker database
Quality auditing of process, line and product for products such as Dry Erase, Medical, Hard Coat and Solar
Internal Organization of Standards (ISO) internal auditor
Complete 5S audits
Prepare graphs, charts or reports as needed
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required; Associates Degree in Applied Science preferred and two years of related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Minitab preferred
Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
Must possess good problem-solving skills and basic math skills
Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees and vendors
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Willingness to work as team member or independently
Hours are 8:00am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday
