Position Summary: The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities through inspection, testing, auditing, documentation, and quality system support. This position helps ensure that incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products meet Greenworks’ quality standards and customer expectations. The Quality Technician works closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify quality issues, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Understand and apply quality standards for incoming materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. Inspect components, assemblies, and finished products using measuring and testing equipment. Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements. Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing on products and components. Monitor compliance with inspection requirements for materials, components, assemblies, and finished products. Verify testing methods and inspection procedures are performed in accordance with company standards. Measure products against engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to identify defects and nonconformances. Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns to Quality and Production leadership. Assist in the investigation and documentation of product and process quality issues. Identify, tag, and segregate non-conforming materials and products in accordance with established procedures. Support corrective action activities by gathering information, documenting findings, and verifying implementation of corrective measures.
