Role Overview: The R&D Student role is a 12-month placement (July 2027 start) with opportunity to gain valuable industrial skills within our group on subjects related to solid form and physicochemical, salt/polymorph, cocrystal screening and selection, chiral separation, scale up and crystallisation development of forms. Core Responsibilities: Comply with SOP’s and show commitment to the Safety & Quality Cultures. Conduct laboratory experiments and participate in investigative R&D work in the labs. Provide technical & analytical support by performing analyses on API molecules. Achieve and understanding of projects being worked on, so as to contribute to project planning and he design of experiments. Potentially contribute to writing a scientific article of a patent. Maintain a detailed record of work done. Prepare reports on specific items of work where appropriate. Work in a safe manner and maintain working areas in a safe and tidy condition. Liaise with other departments within the group, particularly with analytical. To carry out other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed. Qualifications: Required Currently studying a Chemistry or Pharmaceutical sciences based Undergraduate degree or relevant scientific degree and completed 3 years of study by July 2027. Have practical laboratory experience. Have high attention to detail and able to maintain accuracy Have a problem-solving mind set with the ability to work independently Special Factors This role requires wearing of PPE.
