Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Overview University Radiology is the largest privately-owned provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ. We are comprised of more than 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year. Responsibilities University Radiology is looking for an experience RN to work 1 - 2 Days Per Diem from 8:00am - 4:30pm to cover shifts in our East Brunswick, NJ Imaging Office and our Vascular and Interventional Center in Warren, NJ. Must have emergency procedure skills and experience to assist radiologists. Assists the radiologist in performing fluoroscopic and invasive procedures on patients of all ages. Remain alert to the patient’s physical conditions, recognizing signs of distress and initiates prescribed emergency procedures. Has a capable knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the procedures performed. Assures the continued safe operation of emergency equipment. Qualifications IV and ACLS certifications are required Critical care, emergency medicine and/or radiology nursing experience is preferred Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey required Pay Range: $46/hr Join our growing team!
