Restaurant Server MaraHills Golf Resort Location: Sicamous, BC Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager Classification: Full Time / Part Time Seasonal (must be available to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays) Compensation: $17.85 per hour. Overlooking beautiful Mara Lake, in the summer paradise of Sicamous BC, our mission is to deliver a memorable dining experience to our members and guests. We take pride in our innovative menu offerings, handcrafted cocktails, and inviting environment. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Restaurant Server. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will have the opportunity to deliver outstanding service to our guests while also showcasing your cocktail creation skills behind the bar. Responsibilities: • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently • Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items and drink selections • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, and other beverages • Ensure that all drinks are made to our established recipes and presentation standards • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or special requests • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders • Ensure that all food and drink items are rung in accurately and payments are processed according to our company standards • Ensure that restaurant reservations are recorded thoroughly and accurately • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and bar, including clearing and sanitizing tables, stocking supplies and cleaning glassware and smallware Qualifications: • Previous experience as a server and or bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including wine and cocktail preparation • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to multitask and work with composure under pressure • Serving it Right certification • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required • To serve alcohol in BC you must be 19 years of age Benefits: • Competitive hourly wage, plus gratuities • Opportunities for advancement and professional development • Employee discounts on dining and merchandise • A supportive and cooperative work environment with a focus on success and job…
