Position Pay Range: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Responsibilities
The Dockworker, North American is responsible for safely and efficiently unloading, sorting, handling and loading freight in accordance with verbal and written instructions, as well as Federal, State, and customer regulations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
Control and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.
Work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.
Support and promote company core values.
Regular attendance is required.
Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
Attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.
