Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in risk assessment, general liability insurance, or Workers’ Compensation? Join our team as a Risk Management Generalist and put your skills to work in a role that combines risk management, insurance claim reporting, and customer service.
Working closely with the Risk Manager, you’ll support employees, residents, vendors, and internal departments while helping keep critical risk and safety processes running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Support Workers’ Compensation, property, auto, and liability claims.
Receive, log, and assist with incident and employee injury reports.
Review property damage incidents and create invoices and assist with collections.
Manage vendor Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and maintain insurance records.
Assist with post-accident investigations and property loss inquiries.
Track claims and incident data and assist with trend analysis.
Support monthly Safety Committee meetings, agendas, packets, and minutes.
Prepare reports, assist with budget data collection, and maintain records.
Work with employees, vendors, insurers, brokers, and other departments.
Assist with emergency or crisis recovery activities when needed.

JOB SUMMARY
Advanced and specialized work providing support to the Risk Manager. Responsible for data entry, vendor COI’s and gate damages. Assists Risk Manager with Workers’ Compensation intake. The position is also responsible for assisting with daily risk inquiries and assistance to employees, residents and vendors. Serves on the Safety Committee and assists with communications to promote safety throughout the District. This position requires good judgment, excellent communication and organizational skills, and discretion. Works closely with departments internal, and external, to VCCDD, insurers, brokers, and employees. Professional appearance and communication skills are essential.
