Description
The MAG Accessibility Validation resource is needed to assist all of MAG with proper Accessibility testing and assistance for all MAG Websites/applications and documents including the CDT Initiative, CAMP, Case Centre, etc.
Accessibility testing will need to be done on various MAG applications as well as assistance to the CDT Team as they move forward with configuring the new digital justice solution and has a functional test environment for the new solution, there is an urgent need to test the new solution for accessibility compliance. We are seeking an FFS resource who can test and report on accessibility compliance for the following deliverables of CDT: 1. Online application that is public facing: Public Portal and Case Center
2. Online application that is internal facing for CSD and Court staff: C-Track
3. Training and other change management resources to support positive adoption of the new technology: videos; power point presentations; pdf documents for process maps; word files for manuals, tip sheets, posters, brochures; online forms using MS Forms, Slido or EasyRetro
Given the public facing components, full compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) WCAG 2.1 will be a minimum standard.
This position is currently listed as "Onsite"; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be "Hybrid", working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (excluding breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment, you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager's requirements for the Project you are assigned to.
Scope
The contractor will be conducting accessibility testing for various applications, websites, documents, PDF's etc.
Assignment Deliverables
The contractor will provide full 3 part3-part Accessibility methodology (manual, automated and assistive technology) and provide the detailed reports to the end users
The contractor will meet with end users to walk them through the Accessibility testing results and explain the issues and possible remediation plans
The contractor will provide expert advice on WCAG 2.1 to developers, vendors and end users.
The contractor will be available to meet and answer all questions from clients, vendors, end users, etc.

Mandatory Requirements
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and new emerging accessibility standards
Knowledge of conducting the OPS 3-part accessibility testing methodology including manual, automated and assistive testing technology and providing clients with detailed accessibility reports and explanations of issues found.
