What you'll be doing:
At Avon, we're looking for an experienced and motivated RTR Supervisor to lead our Record to Report team and help deliver high-quality financial reporting across our CELL markets. This is an exciting opportunity to combine people leadership, technical accounting expertise, and process improvement in a dynamic, international environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial results, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting audits, and developing a high-performing team while contributing to the continuous evolution of our finance operations.
Key responsibilities:
Supervising and supporting RTR Accountants across multiple accounting areas, including fixed assets, revenue, inventory, payroll, and balance sheet account reconciliations
Managing the month-end close calendar and ensuring all reporting deadlines are met with accuracy and quality
Reviewing and approving balance sheet account reconciliations
Overseeing fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and related journal entries
Reviewing revenue and cost accounting activities, accruals, reporting, and submissions
Supervising inventory and obsolescence accounting, including provision calculations and cost updates
Reviewing bank statement processing and account reconciliations
Ensuring accurate lease accounting and IFRS 16 compliance
Owning and monitoring internal controls within the RTR process area and supporting audit requirements
Preparing quarterly certification commentary and participating in certification reviews
Acting as the primary escalation point for finance stakeholders, Chief Accountants, Heads of Finance, and auditors
Driving process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardisation initiatives
Supporting statutory audit activities and coordinating with external auditors
Conducting regular one-to-one meetings, setting objectives, providing feedback, and supporting the growth and development of team members
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally within a multinational organisation or Shared Service Centre environment
Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead, or senior accounting position
Strong understanding of Record to Report (RTR) processes
Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls
Knowledge of IFRS and related accounting standards
Experience working with ERP systems such as JDE/E1 or similar platforms
Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
