SaaS Full Stack Product Engineering Intern (Brno, Czech Republic)

The Red Hat Lightspeed Host Based Inventory team is looking for an Intern with some knowledge of Python or JavaScript interested in large scale SaaS platform to join us in Brno. In this role, you will contribute to a software handling large Customer fleets in order to help them report on the health of this fleet. You’ll help with improving performance to increase the scale and help build new reporting tooling around the system. As an Intern, you’ll be full part of the team, developing the reporting tooling and improving the performance of the system. This long-term internship will give you the opportunity to understand how a team develops, deploys and maintains a system in microservice architecture and in a large scale ecosystem and based on open source software. You’ll learn how to use AI effectively to increase efficiency and productivity of the team. What you will do: Participate in the team meetings aimed at alignment within the team Work on developing and improving maintainability of large scale SaaS product  Contribute to improving the team’s processes What you will bring: You must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship and must be able to join us part-time from February 2027 till January 2028 Working knowledge of written and spoken English Experience in coding; Basic experience programming in Python Familiarity with continuous integration (CI), containerization and microservices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to learn quickly and bring up ideas to improve the processes Prior participation in open source software projects is an advantage Due to the limited number of internship opportunities and the high volume of applications, we may not be able to speak with every candidate.
