Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois  - Moline   Function: Marketing and Sales (CA) Title: Sales Capability Trainer - 124204   Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a  Sales Capability Trainer for John Deere C&F you will: Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive sales training programs including instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning Develop learning paths for new hires, emerging sales professionals, and experienced team members, while maintaining standardized playbooks, coaching guides, and processes aligned with business and sales priorities Develop sales capability by coaching teams in consultative selling, customer engagement, negotiation, and value-based selling Design and deliver training that equips employees to engage dealers with confidence, improve dealer sales execution, enhance customer experience, and apply proven sales strategies and best practices consistently across the organization Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content remains accurate and relevant.  VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position  What Skills You Need • Experience in sales, product support, technology, parts, or related business functions • Strong presentation and communication skills, utilizing modern learning technologies and virtual training platforms • Experience in sales within the equipment or heavy machinery aftermarket industry • Ability to train, influence, and coach internal personnel in sales execution • Working knowledge of consultative selling principles and sales processes What Makes You Stand Out Comprehensive knowledge of John Deere products, aftermarket solutions, dealer operations, systems, processes, and digital tools Knowledge of dealer sales processes, systems, and procedures, with experience supporting dealer sales growth and customer engagement initiatives Experience developing training curriculum or leading capability development initiatives. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
