Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and personable Sales Representative to join our team and help develop existing customer relationships while driving new business opportunities.
The Role
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing customer portfolio. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to visit clients across the local area, alongside telephone-based account management. You will focus on building strong relationships, identifying opportunities to increase sales, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Visit existing customers regularly to maintain and strengthen business relationships.
Manage customer accounts via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products within existing accounts.
Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and recommend suitable products.
Generate additional sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement.
Resolve customer queries and issues professionally and efficiently.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
Monitor customer activity and maintain accurate records of visits and sales.
Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Represent the company professionally at all times.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in sales, account management, business development, or customer service.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Confident dealing with customers both over the phone and face-to-face.
Commercially minded with a natural ability to spot sales opportunities.
Friendly, approachable, and highly personable.
Self-motivated with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Desirable
Experience within fresh produce, food distribution, FMCG, or wholesale sectors.
Knowledge of B2B sales and account management.
Experience working with CRM systems.
