Overview Scientist III is responsible for the bioanalytical method development, method validation/qualification, sample analysis, bioanalytical report writing, Deliver high quality bioanalytical data to support ADME, PK, biomarker and other drug discovery and development efforts in a timely fashion. Able to perform trouble-shooting and problem-solving in the bioanalytical areas. Work with teams to improve technology and process. Responsibilities Perform bioanalytical method development independently in the areas of LC-MS/MS platform, or immunochemistry platform like ELISA/MSD, PCR, flow cytometry, western blotting, etc. Follow and Familiar with bioanalytical acceptance criteria for different stages of application. Conduct bioanalytical sample analysis in variety of biological matrices, including but not limited to small or large molecule sample analysis, and bioanalytical report writing. Function as a study director, principal investigator, or project coordinator, including serving as primary contact for projects. Write or present clear, concise reports for studies, processes and accomplishments. Maintain research notebooks in a well-organized manner. All necessary documentation is recorded. Supervise or train others for bioanalytical study. Demonstrate good leadership through leading by example, motivation, and performance recognition. Review other scientists’ calculations and records. Learn, enhance, and share technical knowledge of DMPK including ADME, PK, Metabolism, and Bioanalysis. Participate in writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), bioanalytical acceptance guidelines and suggest practical changes. Comply with SOPs, guidelines and good housekeeping policies. Follow company’s policies including safety policies, practices and procedures in order to maintain a safe work environment. Work with EHS team to identify safety hazards and corrective action. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience / Education: PhD, Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related science degree. PhD with 0-3 years related experience. Master’s degree with 8+ years related experience, Bachelor’s degree with 11+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Good knowledge and experience of methods, concepts and techniques relevant to small or large molecule bioanalytical work, including LC-MS, ELISA/MSD, PCR, flow cytometry, western blotting, etc. A good understanding of bioanalytical guidance and acceptance criteria in discovery and development stages. Demonstrate independent thought and scientific/technical creativity Continue to increase awareness and understanding of relevant science and is conversant in relevant scientific literature Collaboratively perform research, development new methods for the projects Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Good time…
