Security Officer

Position Summary:     Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them.     In the Security Officer position, you’ll be responsible for executing tasks that support a safe and secure work environment.  You will encourage compliance of and serve as a subject matter expert on all site-specific policies and procedures related to maintaining a safe and secure environment, while constantly striving to provide outrageous customer service to both our internal customers (Partners) and campus visitors, alike.      Skills Needed:   Displayed ability to successfully work in both a team environment, as well as independently in a solitary role, with minimal supervision.  Effectively Collaborates - Forges strong partnerships and works productively with others to achieve common goals. Seizes opportunities that reward both the customer and DS, fostering robust customer relationships.  An ability to flex on scheduling as priorities change frequently, including holidays and weekends on a rotational schedule  Safely climb ladders up to 20 feet and as well as stairs  Lift 35 lbs. unassisted using safe lifting techniques  Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking, sitting as much as six hours a day and otherwise moving as much as eight hours a day  Ability to walk outside from one to several miles daily on paved walkways throughout the year     What You’ll Do and Impact:    Responds to requests from Partners with access badge issues, modifying badge access levels, and replacing damaged or lost access badges  Conducts and documents monthly building and equipment inspections   Installs event-related signage and traffic control devices pre-event  Ensures all interior lights are off, arm and dis-arm systems and activate lights in the morning  Inspects Champion Wellness Center lockers for residual, personal property   Perform safety and security tasks, processes, and assignments with a strong emphasis on outrageous customer service and…
