Position Summary:
As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, staff, and medical professionals. Working closely with the hospital’s security team and internal departments, you will provide a visible security presence, respond to incidents, and uphold all safety policies and procedures.
This role is highly people-focused and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.
Compensation: $19/hr

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Access Control: Monitor and manage entry points, screening patients, visitors, staff, and vendors in accordance with hospital policies.
Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to identify safety concerns, security risks, or suspicious activity.
Incident Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, and hazardous conditions.
Conflict Resolution: Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage disruptive behavior and resolve conflicts professionally.
Vigilant Monitoring: Observe and report criminal activity, policy violations, or safety hazards that may threaten people or property.
Reporting & Documentation: Complete accurate incident reports, logs, and daily activity reports to ensure clear communication and accountability.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with hospital staff, fellow officers, and supervisors to support a cohesive and secure environment.
