Opportunity: Senior Advisor Commercial (Upstream Oil & Gas) Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Contract Type: 1-2 Years (Renewable) A leading energy organization is seeking a highly experienced Senior Advisor Commercial to join its dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in upstream oil & gas commercial strategy, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the negotiation and drafting of upstream commercial contracts. Collaborate across internal departments to drive alignment on commercial initiatives. Strengthen relationships with national oil companies and joint venture partners. Provide strategic advice on PSCs, JOAs, and other key commercial agreements. Evaluate the economic impact of business decisions and support long-term planning. Mandatory Qualifications: Minimum 10 years experience in the upstream oil & gas industry. Strong knowledge of Production Sharing Contracts , Joint Operating Agreements , and Sales Agreements . Proven track record in commercial negotiations and economics . Experience with major oil & gas projects . Degree in Engineering , Finance , or Law . Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Fluent in spoken and written English .
