Senior Android Engineer, AdTech (m/f/d)

About your tasks: Lead the  design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Android applications  using Kotlin and modern Android architecture patterns such as  MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture . Define and evolve the  Android application architecture , ensuring scalability, modularity, testability, and long-term maintainability. Drive the adoption and effective use of  Jetpack Compose  to build modern, declarative, reusable, and responsive user interfaces. Design and build reusable mobile components for  Retail Media and advertising experiences , including  Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, native placements, display banners, and personalized product recommendations . Integrate Retail Media placements naturally into  product discovery, search, category, product detail, and other commerce journeys , balancing monetization objectives with a high-quality customer experience. Collaborate with backend, data, product, and ad server teams on  APIs, tracking contracts, campaign metadata, targeting, attribution, and measurement requirements . Build flexible and configurable solutions that enable new  ad formats, placements, campaigns, and monetization use cases  to be introduced efficiently. Ensure best practices in modularization, code quality, testing, and performance optimization, define and evolve the app’s architecture, ensuring scalability and long-term maintainability Build reusable mobile components for Retail Media experiences, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, product recommendations, banners. Ensure engineering best practices across  modularization, code quality, dependency management, observability, testing, security, and performance optimization . Improve  CI/CD reliability, build performance , and  release processes .  Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for architecture decisions, features, and technical processes Review and guide  critical technical and architectural decisions , contributing to engineering standards and best practices across teams. Improve  app stability, performance,  and overall  technical health .   Reduce  technical debt strategically  while enabling product teams through  platform improvements .  Implement and evolve  feature flags, experimentation frameworks, and A/B testing  to validate new customer and advertising experiences through measurable outcomes. About you: Extensive experience in Android development with strong expertise in  Kotlin. Deep understanding of the  Android SDK  and modern Android development practices.
