Hiring range: $74,214.40 to $103,896.00 annually ($35.68 to $49.95 per hour). Starting rate will depend on experience, education, and qualifications. Position Description
The Anoka County Property Records and Taxation Divisions mission is to embrace innovation to provide exceptional property tax, land records, vital records, and elections services. The division has an immediate opening for Senior Appraiser who will perform various duties. Some of the critical responsibilities of this position include the assessment of commercial, industrial and apartment properties in Anoka County. The Senior Appraiser will research, classify, and value property to provide a fair and equitable property assessment. The Senior Appraiser produces detailed appraisal reports while remaining flexible and embracing ongoing field inspections and property valuations.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, benefit-eligible position. Interviews will take place the week of 10/19/2026 for those selected to move forward in the hiring process.
Pay and Benefits
Anoka County Salary Schedule Grade 34: $74,214.40 to $103,896 annually ($35.68 to $49.95 per hour).

Work Location
This position will work at the Anoka County Government Center, located at 2100 3rd Ave. Anoka, MN 55303.
Expected work hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with the possibility of flexible/hybrid scheduling upon completion of probationary period.

Examine and evaluate property to establish a fair market value for taxation.
Perform on-site inspections to determine condition of property.
View and inspect all parcels of property in assigned assessment districts to determine any changes from prior assessment.
