YOUR MISSION
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Assembly Integration & Test Technician to support mechanical assembly, integration, and environmental test operations for component and system level hardware. This role is split between hands on mechanical integration, installing mechanical components, building sub-assemblies, and supporting build activities, and environmental test operations, including component-level and thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience across mechanical build/integration and test, with strong hands-on experience maintaining vibration (vibe) tables and TVAC chambers.
Key Responsibilities • Mechanical Integration & Assembly • Install mechanical components and build sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, work instructions, and travelers • Perform mechanical assembly, integration, and disassembly of components, subsystems, and system-level hardware • Fabricate, install, and align test fixtures and ground support equipment (GSE) • Support build activities during down time between test campaigns, including fit checks, hardware prep, and staging • Work closely with engineering to resolve fit, tolerance, or build issues during integration
Test Operations & Facility Support • Set up, operate, and support component level environmental testing, including vibration, shock,and thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration support, and troubleshooting on vibration tables/shakers and TVAC chambers • Install and connect test instrumentation (accelerometers, thermocouples, etc.) and support data acquisition…
