The Opportunity:
Join Hamilton Lane as a Senior Associate on our Private Markets fintech product management team. We are focused on using innovation to change the private markets. You will have a passion for problem solving and will be focused on client and investment team business goals. As a product team member, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the innovation process, from identifying friction points to creating technology.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Support product managers by translating business goals and user feedback into thoughtful product design.
Conduct user experience (UX) research by interviewing clients and internal stakeholders, gather additional client feedback from Client and Sales teams, and conduct innovation sessions.
Identify friction points, articulate core problem and scope.
Investigate build, partner, buy methods to solve problem; develop and run POCs with available AI applications or software.
Recommend solutions, articulate changes to business logic or processes, and bring stakeholders along the product development cycle.
Document current and future state with diagrams, functional requirements, user stories.
Dig into financial and business data and conduct data analytics to help get to the right number.
Work closely with developers to ensure execution of work, triage user stories, and remove blockers for team.
Test features, enhancements, and bug fixes before they land in users’ hands.
Use measurement and analytics pre- and post-launch of features and enhancements to communicate impact.
Author product guides and contribute to marketing materials; influence the change management associated with a given project.
