Role Overview:
As an Operations Engineer , you will lead efforts to scale our organization through process automation and AI integration . Your mission is to identify operational bottlenecks, design intelligent workflows , and deliver data-driven automated solutions that enhance productivity, decision-making, and operational quality across the company.
This role bridges the gap between business processes , data engineering , and technology , working within the Finance department in close partnership with our Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Engineering teams.
Main responsibilities:
The team member shall perform the tasks inherent to such position, including, but not limited to, the following:
Partner with business teams to identify and scope high‑impact transformation opportunities through AI and automation . Define the business problem , success metrics , feasibility , risks , and ROI .
Map, document, and analyze current processes, systems, and data flows across the existing tool landscape. Evaluate existing processes and assumptions, identify bottlenecks , and propose new workflows and tooling that enable scalability and efficiency . Work with the data and BI teams on new and updated data models to enable workflows.
Design and deliver new solutions end-to-end , from proof of concept to production . Develop automation and AI-based systems such as intelligent routing or workflow orchestration , integrated with internal platforms via APIs and webhooks .
Establish quality, performance, and safety monitoring for all solutions. Work closely with Security, Legal, and Privacy to ensure compliant data use and vendor management . Create documentation, runbooks, and handovers to ensure sustainable operations.
Collaborate with the data engineering and BI team to design ingestion and transformation pipelines using dbt and LLM-powered workflows in Python , to support automation, analytics, and decision-making at scale .
Act as a driver for continuous improvement by advancing operational efficiency through innovation , simplification , and collaborative problem-solving .
Main requirements:
Deep understanding of business processes, with a strong process-mapping and optimization mindset, focused on measurable efficiency gains and anticipation of edge cases and failure modes.
