The Senior Customer Program Manager is responsible for managing customer requests, commitments, documentation, schedules, and action items across complex technical programs. This role serves as a key interface between customers and internal engineering, operations, project management, and legal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and prioritize customer requests, requirements, and commitments.
Organize and maintain customer-provided documentation, specifications, contracts, and program information.
Develop and maintain the high-level program schedule , including key milestones and deliverables.
Review contractual documents and work with in-house legal counsel to understand and appropriately apply contractual requirements.
Maintain a customer-facing action tracker , including owners, due dates, and status.
Drive cross-functional teams to close customer and internal action items on time.
Identify schedule, scope, contractual, and execution risks and escalate as appropriate.
Coordinate customer meetings, document decisions, and communicate program status.
Ensure customer expectations and commitments are clearly understood across the organization.
Requirements
This position requires access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).
Experience:
Degree in Engineering or a related field.
10+ years of experience in program management.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to understand technical and contractual documents.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, legal, and executive teams.
Experience with project scheduling and action-tracking tools.
Preferred
Experience in photonics, lasers, optics, or quantum.
Technical or engineering background.
Experience managing complex hardware development programs.

Benefits
The expected annual salary range for this position is $130,000-$175,000.
