Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary: The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will design, implement, integrate, support and optimize enterprise Cybersecurity solutions for Algosystems’ customers. What You Will Do: The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise across security technologies, customer orientation and the ability to support complex projects and Managed Services environments. Requirements Job Responsibilities Design, implement, configure, integrate and troubleshoot enterprise Cybersecurity solutions. Support complex customer environments, projects and Managed Services, ensuring security, availability, performance and SLA compliance. Perform implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, changes and technical problem resolution. Produce and maintain technical documentation, configurations, implementation plans and operational procedures. Act as a senior technical escalation point, supporting engineers and resolving complex security technology issues. Collaborate with architects, project teams, vendors and customers during solution design, implementation and transition to operations. Maintain and continuously develop technical expertise and relevant vendor certifications. Qualifications and Work Experience 7+ years of professional experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Security Solutions or related technical roles. Strong hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies such as IAM, PAM, DLP, WAF, EDR/XDR, NDR, SASE/SSE, ZTNA, Email Security and Cloud Security. Strong understanding of security architecture, integration, authentication, access control, data protection and security operations principles. Hands-on experience with Microsoft security solutions, Fortinet security solutions and CyberArk is highly desirable. Experience implementing and supporting security solutions in large and complex enterprise environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple security technologies. Relevant cybersecurity and vendor certifications are highly desirable. University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
