Senior Electrical Engineer | Cincinnati, OH 100% Employee-Owned | Big-firm resources, local-team relationships, ONE IMEG culture IMEG is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer in Cincinnati, OH. This role supports moderate to complex projects and larger, high-complexity work, giving candidates the option to pursue either a Technical Path or a Project Management Path focused on electrical systems in buildings. In either path, the role includes project management, engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight, along with budget accountability, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve client goals and client expectations. You will support industrial and manufacturing-focused work while advancing high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with MEP2050 and AIA2030. At a Glance Location: Cincinnati, OH Discipline: Electrical Markets: Industrial; Manufacturing; MEP Ownership: 100% employee-owned (ESOP) Travel: Up to 20% Work Schedule: Full-time hybrid Sponsorship: Not available What You'll Do Technical Path Lead design efforts for the analysis of electrical systems, creating detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards. Perform site assessments and generate detailed analysis and technical reports. Interact with clients to gather project requirements, communicate technical information, and build client relationships through professional communication. Provide in-process design reviews of electrical system design, calculations, specifications, and project correspondence. Implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards and client requirements. Train, mentor, and motivate staff. Provide technical assistance in resolution of field issues with limited support from senior staff. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG. Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with electrical systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals. Participate in project interviews and project presentations. Project Management Path Coordinate, oversee and manage projects ranging in size and complexity. Assist Project Executives and Client Executives with design scopes of work and fee calculations for proposal generation as well as with contract reviews. Create project schedules including targets for milestones and deadlines. Serve as the point of contact for teams and clients.
