OVERVIEW Matrix Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution to join our growing Electrical Engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage electrical power systems supporting manufacturing, food & beverage, chemical, mining, specialty chemical, and other industrial facilities. Projects range from facility expansions and modernizations to new process installations and electrical infrastructure upgrades. You will work directly with clients, collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, provide technical leadership on projects, and mentor developing engineers while helping deliver innovative solutions to complex industrial challenges. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, perform advanced power system studies, and lead designs from concept through startup and commissioning. WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON Low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems Electrical power system studies and analysis Switchgear, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, and distribution equipment Utility service upgrades and power infrastructure improvements Electrical system modernization and facility expansions Industrial power distribution for manufacturing and process facilities Hazardous location installations EPC and design-build projects Client-facing engineering consulting projects Technical mentorship and project leadership KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial and manufacturing facilities. Develop electrical construction packages including one-line diagrams, power plans, equipment layouts, conduit plans, cable schedules, and installation details. Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, panelboards, and associated equipment.
